Frequently asked questions

The things people ask us most. If yours isn't here, call or email — we'd rather answer it than have you guess.

The basics

Yes, for the products we buy. Over-the-counter blood glucose test strips are your property once you've bought them, and reselling unused, unexpired, sealed boxes is legal across the United States.

There are two important exceptions, and we hold to both:

  • Prescription items can't be resold. That's why we don't touch CGM sensors, insulin or anything else dispensed on a prescription.
  • Government-funded supplies can't be resold. If Medicare, Medicaid or a state assistance program paid for them, they aren't eligible, and selling them can carry real penalties.

If your supplies were bought with your own money or through private insurance and they're over the counter, you're free to sell them.

It depends on the brand, the count per box, how far out the expiration date is and what condition the box is in. A sealed 100-count box of OneTouch Ultra expiring two years out is at the top of the market; a 50-count of an off-brand expiring in eight months is at the bottom.

Our payout page has current ranges for every brand we handle. For a firm number on your exact boxes, send us a quote request — it takes two minutes.

No. The quote is free, the shipping label is free, and there are no fees taken out of your payment. The number on your offer is the number that lands in your account.

What we accept

Unfortunately not. Once the outer box has been opened we have no way to verify the contents haven't been tampered with or stored improperly, and our downstream buyers won't accept them. The manufacturer's seal has to be intact.

It's not a dealbreaker, but it does affect the price. A label that peels off cleanly is fine. A label that tears the box or leaves heavy residue brings the offer down. You're welcome to remove it yourself before shipping — just take your time so the box doesn't tear.

For your own privacy, we'd encourage you to remove or black out any label with your name, address or prescription number on it.

No. Those are prescription medical devices and we don't handle prescription products of any kind. It's a firm line for us and we won't make an exception, so please don't include them in a shipment — we aren't permitted to return items we can't legally handle.

Not to us, and honestly not to anyone reputable. Our buyers need enough runway to get the product to someone who'll actually use it. Six months is our hard floor and twelve months or more gets you the best price.

If they're close to expiring, the better move is to contact a local free clinic or a diabetes support organization — many will take short-dated supplies as a donation and put them straight to use.

Shipping & payment

We inspect the day your package arrives and pay the same day. PayPal and Venmo usually land within minutes. Direct deposit takes one to two business days. Checks go out in that day's mail.

Counting the shipping time, most people are paid within three or four days of filling out the form.

We call you before anything happens. We don't quietly revise offers.

If the boxes match what you described, the offer stands exactly as quoted. If something's different — a shorter expiration than listed, a damaged box, a brand that got missed — we'll explain what changed and give you the choice: take the revised offer, or have everything shipped back at our expense.

Our labels are tracked and insured. If a package goes missing in transit after you've dropped it off, that's on us — we'll pay your quoted offer in full and deal with the carrier ourselves. Just keep your drop-off receipt until you've been paid.

Any time before we've paid you. Say the word and we'll ship everything back at our cost, no questions and no restocking fee. See our returns policy for the details.

Privacy

We use it to price your offer, send your shipping label and pay you. That's it. We don't sell it, rent it or share it with marketers, and we don't add you to a mailing list unless you ask.

We don't ask for your diagnosis, your medical records or your insurance details, and we'd rather you didn't send them. Our full Privacy Policy spells out exactly what we keep and for how long.

Licensed secondary-market distributors and wholesalers who supply cash-paying customers, clinics and pharmacies. Every lot is inspected and recall-checked before it leaves us. Nothing goes to an individual consumer directly from us.

For wholesale buyers

No. It's a closed channel. You need a registered business, a valid EIN and a current state resale certificate or applicable licence, and you have to pass our verification before we'll open an account.

We don't sell to the general public and we don't take anonymous orders. That costs us volume, and it's deliberate — it's what keeps the supply chain defensible.

Usually one business day. We check your licence and business registration against public records. Including a company website on the application speeds it up.

Every lot is graded and every shipment ships with an itemized manifest: brand, count, lot number, expiration and grade for every box.

A-grade is clean retail packaging, no labels, 12+ months dating. B-grade has cosmetic wear or label residue. Anything borderline gets photographed and sent to you before you commit.

You have 7 days from delivery to check it. Anything that doesn't match — wrong brand, wrong count, wrong grade, shorter dating, broken seal, damage on arrival, missing boxes — is refunded or replaced in full, your choice, and we pay the return shipping.

What we can't take back is correctly supplied stock after the window closes, or anything whose seal was broken in your possession. Full detail is in the returns policy.

We issue an itemized invoice with the manifest attached. You pay it by card or ACH before we ship — nothing is charged until you've seen and approved both. We don't keep a card on file or bill automatically.

Net 15 terms are available to approved accounts after three completed orders.

No. United States only, and our terms prohibit exporting product you buy from us.
